Thank you for warning people of this. By God’s grace I was reading the Glories of Mary at the same time as this misleading version of Preparation for Death and this alerted me that he had deleted all references to Our Lady from St Alphonsus’ original. Tragic.
Saint Alphonsus teaches,
“He who neglects the service of the Blessed Virgin will die in his sins”
