- Justice in the Church: A Manual of Self Defense (2015). Available in PDF format (in this page) at Justice for Priests and Deacons and at FlipHtml5. [This is a compendium of materials intended to teach clergy how to defend themselves against false accusations of sexual abuse.]
On the Feast of Saint Marina of Qannoubine in the Maronite Church; and in honour of all the dedicated clergy and religious who have endured calumny and false accusations. We pray that, amid the secular and ecclesiastical reaction to the actual or perceived laxity of certain prelates towards clergy homosexual abuse, we may all respect the inalienable rights of the accused to due process and presumption of innocence, and remember the Church’s mission to call sinners to repentance and the Father’s mercy.
O God, our refuge and our strength, look down with mercy upon the people who cry to Thee; and by the intercession of the glorious and immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of God, of Saint Joseph her spouse, of the blessed Apostles Peter and Paul, and of all the saints, in Thy mercy and goodness hear our prayers for the conversion of sinners, and for the liberty and exaltation of the Holy Mother the Church. Through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen. (From Sancta Missa)
